I’m looking for the top culinary Universities in Canada. I’m not yet ready to be applying, but I’m big on planning early. I know for sure I want a future in the Culinary field, so I am wondering if anyone knows good culinary schools in Canada? I’m looking to own a restaurant, and be the chef as well.

Check out the art institute of vancouver, liaison college, and the northwest culinary institute (located in vancouver). These are really good culinary schools in canada.

I’m currently in my school’s math team, newspaper club, band, Mouse squad (a program in which students fix the school’s computers and other technical issues), and the student council. I’ll probably have a lot of hours through these extra curricular activities, but just in case, are they enough? If not, can you recommend any activities I can do? (I want to get into top Universities and a math major.)

If by Top Universities you mean places like MIT and Princeton, you need to really excel at a small number of activities beyond the high school level. Math is broad enough that you could meet that goal with a number of activities relating to it.

Some ideas for your math interest:
-AIME and AMC Math competitions
-math summer programs (there are a few that are especially elite)
-research in Physics or Math with professors at local universities
-start an entrepreneurship or investment club, practice investing on the stock market (Wall street hires a lot of Math majors as analysts)
-tutoring, although you already have some volunteer work
-programming, designing, or building things

You could also include:
-something physical, if possible – a sport, or running, biking, hiking, kayaking, whatever. Can combine with…
-other hobbies/activities that show fun and personality. music, cooking, whatever you like to do!

I was just wondering what options I have available to further my prospects at being accepted into one of the top Universities (i.e. LSE, Kings, Durham, Warwick etc) to read History, and any other advice regarding how to place my self in a good position for the whole application process (i.e. what books to read, things to take part in, etc)

Hi there. Is this for undergraduate or postgraduate study? All of them are popular Universities for History and spaces will be limited. However, universities don’t just look for experience in the subject you are studying in, but a more rounded experience to show that you can get on well in a unviversity environment. Your best bet is to contact the admissions departments and the history departments of the universities you are particularly interesting and find out what they look for. Then tailor your application appropriately. Good luck!
